We started the day with a cycle ride from Vinezac. The BB had given us a book of bike rides en Ardeche Meridionale and we picked ride 29.However we added a detout forified town to L Argentiere and the pretty village of Chassiers. This invovved a couple of small climbs.The temperature was around 32 degrees and total distance was about 18 miles. Returning to Vinezac at about 2.00pm we then drove to Vallon en Pont De Arc. We want to book a canoe ride thought the gorge for tomorrow but it is a 40 minute drive from where we are staying and we would not get back to the car until 6. It then a good 3 hour drive to our next nights accomodation. We have opted for a shorter 13km trip that has the advantafe that it goes thought the Pont De Arc. Took in some wine tasting and anothe small town on our way back.
