The forecast for Castres was rain all day so we decided to do a short ride from Availles-limouzine,  after another good breakfast we were off on a 24 miles loop I had downloaded the previous evening, the route took us out of the village and over the river. It had looked to be entirely on roads but did it turned out that a  mile and half was on a gravel track. We were back at the B&B just before 1pm, Brain had said at breakfast we could use the room for a shower. We planned to have lunch at the hotel in the village as recommended by Roberts uncle. Brain rang the hotel to confirm a booking as he said although they serve until 2:00 they do close earlier if they are not busy. After a good lunch sat outside in the courtyard we set off for Castres at around 3:00pm. It was a 5 hour drive with Kate taking us on a minor roads across  county before we joined the dual carriageway to Limoges.  We stopped for petrol in Limoges a quick Brexton coffee later and our forecast arrival time moved out to 8:30.

It was actually 8:20 when we pulled up outside Chsmbre D'hote L'Albinque, It is  an old 2 story town house and we were shown to a large room on the second floor. Parking is outside on the road but we were able to put our bikes in the garage. We ate in  couscous restaurant a short distance away. A good meal with lots to vegetables.
