The drive to Hull was uneventfull. We had allowed plenty of time and the journey to Hull took around two and a half hours. We arrived 3 hours before our sailing time and soon we aboard the ferry. We booked a cabin for four to give us a little more space. We carried our evening meal on board. Cold meats, rolls and a selection of salad from the garden.
We arrived in the Netherlands at 9:00am local time after a pleasant crossing. The occasion distant sound of a car alarm on the deck below had not disturbed our sleep. We were woken at 7:00 am local time with the announcement breakfast was being served.
